Overview

Proven design that ensures satisfaction

Rolmako is among the few manufacturers of cultivation tools offering a comprehensive range of machines that can be mounted on the front three-point linkage, enabling operations ahead of the tractor. A second unit is mounted on the tractor's rear lift, which optimally enhances the cultivation effect. The new, versatile Rolmako disc harrow for the front three-point linkage is based on the established U 693 compact disc harrow model, proven effective worldwide in various soil conditions. The harrow for the front three-point linkage features a two-beam design, each equipped with sections of discs set opposite each other. Its compact design ensures easy transport and efficient field operation. This disc harrow is designed for seedbed preparation and crop residue cultivation. Levelling the field with the harrow working in front of the tractor increases working speed, particularly after ploughing during the first cultivation. The front-mounted disc harrow is ideal for chopping organic matter such as corn stubble, rapeseed, or catch crops. This goal is achieved quickly and economically, either alone or in combination with a cultivator. The machine adapts to the ground through the rubber connection of the disc leg to the frame. Additionally, the harrow loads the front axle of the tractor, enhancing traction, reducing wheel slippage, and increasing pulling power.

Combination of cultivation equipment to enhance quality and streamline the process

The disc harrow on the front three-point linkage is one of Rolmako's front tools, which, due to its mounting nature on the tractor, allows for additional use and enhances traction. For the disc harrow mounted on the front of the tractor, Rolmako recommends suspending the U 436 multifunctional cultivator on the rear linkage, which, in some configurations, is a heavy device and requires a front load on the tractor. The combination of these two tools enables discing and tine cultivation in one pass with a relatively small load for the tractor. This setup is particularly justified when working on stubble with a large amount of crop residue and on stubble cut high or in fields after grain harvest. In such cases, the disc harrow working in front of the tractor, set for shallow work, cuts crop residue by a few centimeters so that the cultivator working deeper behind it does not get clogged. This type of set has the same working elements as many rear-mounted, extended cultivators, also used in stubble cultivation, which require much larger tractors to operate. The disc harrow on the front three-point linkage is a machine designed for the most demanding users, focused on optimization, precision, and the best possible preparation of the top layer of soil just before sowing and efficient stubble cultivation at the lowest possible costs.

A meticulously engineered structure that optimizes the tractor's efficiency

The Rolmako disc harrow for the front three-point linkage is ideal for use in combination with additional rear-mounted tools, such as a seeder, compactor, cultivator, or another disc harrow. This combination achieves the effect of two operations in the field in one pass, saving time and money. By combining with the seedbed cultivator, a single-pass, simplified sowing is obtained. The disc harrow can also effectively level ridges after digging potatoes. Available with a 3 m working width, it is designed for both basic stubble cultivation and secondary cultivation on dry, heavy soils, making it suitable for field preparation for sowing. The working element consists of 510 mm or 560 mm diameter discs with individual rubber shock absorbers and hubs for each. Rubber shock absorbers on the disc legs ensure smooth operation and protection against stone impacts. The working depth is set using the front rotating support wheels, adjusted with pins. The outer discs fold upwards to a vertical position, reducing transport width for easier travel on public roads. Floating side screens with height and extension adjustment prevent processed soil from escaping the working strip.
