Overview

Ultra-shallow cultivation concept

Cultivation technology is pivotal in mitigating soil water conservation challenges. The latest significant trend in soil water conservation is ultra-shallow cultivation, particularly for shallow stubble cultivation. Proper soil cultivation is the cornerstone of the success of subsequent crops. Ultra-shallow cultivation, which undercuts the entire cultivated profile at a depth of just 2-5 cm, effectively interrupts water evaporation and rapidly initiates the emergence of scattered weed seeds and self-seeds on the soil surface. Interest in increasingly shallow post-harvest cultivation is growing annually, as it only desiccates the shallowest soil layer.

Corrugated SpeedCutter disc

Designed for ultra-shallow cultivation of 2-5 cm at a speed of 20 km/h. The refined geometry of the disc shape enhances cultivation possibilities and improves results under challenging conditions with rape stubble, cover crop shredding, and cereal stubble post-ploughing. The new shape of the disc harrow's working element increases area efficiency through higher working speeds, meeting the expectations of demanding farmers by achieving excellent cultivation effects at minimal soil processing costs. The wavy disc provides highly aggressive cultivation at shallow depths, making it the most effective disc cultivation component currently available for stubble work.

A new generation of multifunctional tillage implements

The SpeedCutter disc harrow design features a robust frame with an optimal 90 cm spacing between the disc rows and an optimized angle of attack for the working elements, enabling effective performance in both stubble conditions and seedbed preparation. The harrow supports operation at greater depths, making it a versatile tool, though this capability is not always required. Due to its shallow cultivation, the discs process less material than traditional cultivation discs, leading to reduced fuel consumption and increased working speed. Wavy discs deliver optimal results at speeds between 15-20 km/h.
