Trailing Shoe / Dribble Bar

The Conor Trailing shoe is a compact and simple but very strong design. It is fitted very close to the rear of the tank to keep an even weight distribution. It is designed in a way that you can easily switch between splash plate spreading and trailing shoe spreading by simply switching the hydraulic hose that is connected to the tractor. Fill points can also be positioned at the rear of the tank for easy access. As standard it comes with automatic reversing of the macerator and a pressure switch to change direction of the macerator if it senses a blockage. The trailing shoe (or dribble bar) can also be made so that it can be used on the back of a tank and directly on the back of a tractor to be used with an umbilical system. It is also available as a dribble bar – the spring/rubber boot assembly is replaced with layflat hose and the height adjustment rams are removed.
